Widow’s Hope

A meeting on the first Monday of each month open to all widows, or women in similar situations, of our church.

Location:  The Fellowship Room

Time: 10:30 AM

Bring a potluck salad to share for lunch following the meeting.

Typical Meeting Includes Things Like:

-Special Guest speaker about helpful topics such as self defense, wills, estate planning, home safety, and exercise

-Debbie or John giving a devotional

-Testimony from one of the women

Very often the group takes a small day trip out of town for lunch. They have been places like Brookwood in Brookshire, Mad Hatters Tea Room in Caldwell, the Airport Diner in Brenham, and Salado.

Twice a year, the Maurers host the ladies at their house for a brunch or lunch and fellowship.
